Students Participating in Tech Day 2011
State Senator Heather Steans (D-Chicago) recently met with students from Budlong and Hayt Elementary Schools who were participating in Tech Day 2011 at the State Capitol in Springfield. Tech Day is an annual event that brings students together from all parts of the State to showcase how technology is changing the way information is taught and received by students.
This year, Budlong Elementary showcased their movie making skills while Hayt Elementary created a Spanish American Musical Glog (online posters created by students) in celebration of Hispanic American Heritage Month.
