Senate To Conduct Hearing Regarding Minority Investments

CHICAGO — Illinois State Senator Kwame Raoul (D – Chicago) and members of the Illinois Senate’s Pensions and Investments Committee will hold a committee hearing regarding minority investments on Monday.

The General Assembly's efforts to encourage Illinois pension funds to use qualified minority and female owned financial service firms are a part of a larger battle to ensure that the lingering vestiges of discrimination are fully dismantled.
