As reported in the State-Journal Register, a request made by State Senator Susan Garrett (
Cellini’s company, New Frontier Management, managed 18 buildings that were leased to the State to house various agencies, including the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Transportation.
While Cellini’s New Frontier Management company no longer manages these facilities, a company with ties to the Cellini family, Pacific Management, continues to manage these properties. Garrett has called on the Board to ensure rents charged by Cellini-associated companies are “consistent with average property management rates charged by other property management companies.”
The Illinois Procurement Policy Board will meet on Thursday, February 9th.
